MERCÈ MEDINA
Flautist
Born in Felanitx in 1991, she studied the flute at the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Liceu in Barcelona with Christian Farroni and Isabel Souto. She received lessons from Júlia Gàllego, Magdalena Martínez, Renate Weiss, and Jacques Zoon. A year later, she graduated in Musicology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Also interested in the field of education, in 2019 she obtained a Master's degree in Music Education from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Netherlands.

She has collaborated with the Symphony Orchestra of Vallès, Proyecto Beta, and performed as a soloist in various formations in Catalonia. She regularly collaborates with the Chamber Orchestra of Mallorca, the Notos Quintet, among others.
​
Currently, she combines her musical career with the field of education as a specialist teacher in music for early childhood and the flute.
​
Her personal interest in the feminist perspective within music led her to create the project "Músiques d'Elles." In 2021, they recorded their first Album featuring works by composers from both the past and the present.
LAURA SERRA
Pianist
Laura, born in 1996, trained at the Royal College of Music in London. Throughout her journey, she studied with internationally recognized professors, including notable figures like Norma Fisher, Gordon Fergus-Thompson, Galina Eguiazarova, Graham Jackson, Iván Cítera, and Maria Tomàs. Laura has been awarded in both national and international competitions.

Her musical interests are characterized by a diverse range of projects. She is currently a founding member of Alanaire, an alternative band that blends rock, pop, jazz, and electronic music. She is also a member of Músiques d'Elles.
​
With a keen interest in the study of performance from a psychological perspective, she completed a Master's in Performance Science at the Royal College of Music. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral studies on the potential effects of stress and sleep on the psychological health of musicians.
In 2021, she recorded, alongside Mercè Medina, Músiques d'Elles first album, featuring works by composers from both the past and the present. In 2022, she released the first album with ALANAIRE, titled "Albor" and in 2024 they will release their second album.
PAULA MARTOS
Cellist
Paula Martos Isidoro was born in Eivissa in 1992. She began her musical studies at the Patronat Municipal d’Eivissa Can Ventosa school and completed her Middle Degree at the Conservatori de Música i Dansa d’Eivissa i Formentera. She pursued her Higher Degree in cello specialization at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid under the guidance of professors Ángel García Jermann and Miguel Jiménez Peláez (soloist of the Orquesta Nacional de España).
In 2015, she continued her studies abroad, specifically pursuing a Performance Master's at the Maastricht Conservatorium in the Netherlands with Professor Ursula Smith. Between 2017 and 2019, she studied a Master's in Orchestra Performance at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg, Sweden, under the tutelage of Professor Johan Stern (soloist of the Göteborg Symphony Orchestra). In 2021, she completed a Master's in Musical Research at the International University of Valencia.

Since 2011, Paula has been an active member and substitute member in national and international orchestras. Examples include JOGV (Jove Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana), the orchestra "Proyecto Pelhivanian," JONC (Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya), JONDE (Joven Orquesta Nacional de España), NJO (National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands), and the prestigious GMJO (Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester). Paula has been an academician in the Zuidnederlands Philarmonie (Netherlands) and the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears. She plays on a French cello crafted by luthier T. Lamy in 1880 and currently balances her work as a musician in orchestras and chamber groups with her role as an educator.
